This school is the dream project of (late) Shri Chakrapani Jha who was himself a teacher and took active part in the freedom movement of India. He was offered a chance for higher education in some foreign university as reward for his contribution to the freedom movement which he declined.
His dream was to build an English medium CBSE affiliated school in his native village. Educational and infrastructural standards of government run schools was very poor in this area.He wanted to provide a platform and opportunity for holistic growth and development of children from this village and surrounding areas.

Srimati Janki Devi wife of Sri Chakrapani Jha actively took part in setting the school in initial days
Vidya Jha daughter of Late Shri Chakrapani Jha presently President of Sri Education And Public Welfare Society. This school exists today due to her hard work, zeal and dedication in this remote village .
